Ohio Shady BowlAMS OPENER SET Posted:5/4/2010 AMS OPENER SET DeGraff OH: In a season victimized by three straight cancellations as a result of foul weather, Shady Bowl Speedway will try to race once again on Saturday night May 8th. It will mark the first appearance of the season of the American Modified Series. The series draws some of the midwests finest modifieds for each event. Greg Stapleton of Troy OH is expected back to defend his 2009 crown. The Sport Stocks, Compacts, Pro-4's and Dwarf cars will also be in action. Time trials will start at 5:30 with racing at 7. The HOSS sprint car series will make its Shady Bowl debut the following week (5-15), with the winged sprinters sure send a chill up the spine of every race fans.. The Late Models, Compacts, Sport Stocks and Compacts will also do battle.
