By Matt Prieur and Chris Fobbe - Dixie Motor Speedway Presented by Draper Auto Group Birch Run, Michigan (Friday, May 7, 2010): The Dixie Motor Speedway Presented by Draper Auto Group was all set and ready for some action packed racing excitement on Friday, May 7th as it was to be Ladies Night at the Races Presented by the Mary Kay Foundation. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had a completely different idea of how to start celebrating the Mother's Day Holiday Weekend as persistent showers and thunderstorms coupled with high winds forced Checkered Flag Promotion Inc., to cancel the racing action scheduled for the Birch Run, Michigan speed plant. So the next race on the 2010 calendar is set for Friday, May 14th as five big divisions will be in action on all three tracks within the facility on $25.00 Car Load Night as well as Sponsor Appreciation and ARMY Night at the Races. For $25.00 Car Load Night, PACK as many people as you can into your personal vehicle, rent a bus, ride in a semi truck, do what you need to do to Pack as many people as possible into your vehicle and come out to the track and enjoy a great night of racing! On the track, the open-wheeled O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes Modifieds will headline the racing action and they'll be joined by the RacerChic.us Pro Stocks on the fast 4/10s (0.400) mile progressively banked paved oval. The RacingPartSales.com Street Stocks and Birch Run / Bridgeport Herald Bombers will once again challenge the adjoining 1/3 (0.333) mile semi-banked paved oval while the Mike's Auto Parts Figure 8s will take on the inner Figure 8 track and close out the evening. The Speedway Grafix Pro Late Models will get the night off. For Friday, May 14th, Ticket Prices are: Adults (18-59) $12.00 - Seniors (60 and Over) $10.00 - Teens (13-17) $8.00 - Children (6-12) $5.00 - Kids (5 and Under) FREE - Pit Passes $25.00.
